Distance Learning and Covid-19

All students must wear a mask that covers both mouth and nose and gloves during each drive time. Students will also have a series of questions asked and their temperature taken before beginning their drive time. All the changes will be in place until further notice.
Yes. MVA has reopened for business. However, MVA is operating on appointment only basis.
If you don’t have a learners permit, you can still take drivers education as long as you are at least 15 and 9 mos in age.
The skills test has also changed. The examiners will not enter the car with the student. The skills test is now a closed course test only. They have temporarily removed the open road test.
Please make your appointments through for learners permits and drivers skills test.

Once you are registered for class, you will receive an email 4 days before class begins with a registration through zoom. This registration is set to recognize your email as a participant of the class. Once you are registered, 2 days before class begins, you will get the username and password to enter the class for the 2 weeks. We will use Google classroom for the presentation of the curriculum.
Students can use desk top, laptop, tablet or phone to log in, but the device must have a camera. MVA requirements for the distance learning require all students to be visible through the entire class.

Office hours are by appointment only.

Class times will vary between morning, afternoon and evening. Most morning and afternoon class will be held in the summer. Please check the schedule for which times are available for classes.

We do have a payment plan. $50 will get you started in class. We ask that you make payments through class. Fees must be paid in full before drive times can be scheduled.

We do have a refund policy posted in the office and with a written notice we can forward through email our policy for a refund.

Topz N Tipz is fully covered through Patterson Insurance with what is mandated by MVA. Our cars must be fully certified including insurance that is set by MVA guidelines.

Classes can be made up in the next scheduled session of classes. You will have to attend the unit that was missed. You may also make up the final if that class was missed during office hours. However, there is a fee for the make-up testing.

We will do everything possible to make sure we can meet you BTW times.
